Well Informed Elected Officials

I have always had a keen interest for knowledge and information. No not the useless gossipy type of stuff but rather the topics that every well prepared and forward thinking leader should know. Sometimes the things that I read are things that I will never use but I like to be prepared. I believe that every good servant leader should be a well rounded somewhat worldly sort of individual.

Those that choose to vote for an individual need to know that their choice matters and the person that they are casting a vote of confidence for cares enough to know enough.

I continue to share my accomplishments and continued activities in order to inform each of you as to my qualifications and background.

I recently attended Indiana Laboratory System Partner Webcast conducted by the Indiana Health Department through the Laboratory Services Commission. The most recent topics were -

  • Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Update: Brian Pope, Division Director, Virology & Serology
  • Respiratory Virus Update: Brian Pope, Division Director, Virology & Serology
  • Sudan Ebolavirus Outbreak Update: Mark Glazier, Division Director, Biothreat – Clinical Microbiology and Environmental Virology Division
  •  IHAN (Indiana Health Alert Network) Call for Cases: VIM-CRPA: Mark Glazier, Division Director, Biothreat – Clinical Microbiology and Environmental Virology Division
  •  IHAN (Indiana Health Alert Network) Surveillance for Travelers Returning with Cholera: Mark Glazier, Division Director, Biothreat – Clinical Microbiology and Environmental Virology Division

Your next mayor must be a person of integrity, character, morals, and committed to serving you! Not a candidate that claims to be a public servant in order to obtain your vote. Haven't we all reached our limits on "talk the talk" candidates?

There is a Biblical truth that supports why I believe that your next mayor should have all of the qualities that I have written about here -

"We who are strong have an OBLIGATION to bear the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves" - Romans 15:1

I want to be your mayor and look forward to serving your interests!
